Versaspa when can you shower

Generally speaking, no. We recommend that you wear loose-fitting, dark clothing in a soft material such as cotton. Sometimes the darker shade might rub off onto your clothing or sheets before your first shower, but generally it does not stain and will wash out.

However, please avoid wearing fabrics such as silk or rayon before your first shower, as it will not wash out of these materials.

It looks completely natural and it fades evenly, too. And remember, it comes in a couple of different shades, so you can choose the one that will look more natural with your skin tone. We provide you with a shower cap to protect your hair.

And if you do get a little in your hair, it will wash right out. That is entirely up to you. Most people who do the Versa Spa regularly get one about once a week, or once it begins to fade. Or, if you want even darker results, you can do two at once at the same time! As long as you wait at least 6 to 8 hours before showering, you will have nothing to worry about. Unfortunately, no. The Versa Spa is completely cosmetic and does not provide a sufficient base tan.

We recommend that you do some tanning in a regular UV booth before going away, and always wear an SPF when spending any significant amount of time in the sun. Also, swimming in either salt or chlorinated water regularly will cause your Versa Spa to fade more quickly.

This is the same ingredient that is found in all self tanning lotions and it is approved by the FDA. However, women who are breastfeeding should cover their nipples during the application process. We recommend moisturizing twice a day to really give yourself that bronzed glow.

Get all of your other beauty services, like nails, waxing, or a massage before your spray tan. Wax at least 24 hours before your appointment. Wax can stay on the skin, making it difficult for your spray tan to hold. Exfoliate in the shower at least 4 hours before your spray tan. This helps the tanning solution adhere to your skin, but it also gives your pores enough time to close back up for an even color.

Moisturize in the morning and at night after getting a tan. From day 3 on, use our Tan Extender as your primary moisturizer. To preserve your tan, avoid swimming, long showers, baths, steam rooms, and saunas. Just make sure that the color is the same as your Be Bronze tan. On average, a sunless tan will last 7 to 10 days. The "life span" of a VersaSpa sunless tan also depends on your skin's natural exfoliation.

The faster your skin regenerates, the faster the sunless tan will fade. The VersaSpa tan is created by DHA and Erythulose and affects only the top layer of the skin and will begin to fade after 5 to 7 days as the skin naturally begins to exfoliate. It is important to keep skin moisturized after your VersaSpa session as dry, flaky skin will slough off faster and color will fade sooner. Sunless tan-extending products help hydrate skin and maintain even, natural looking colorr longer by providing subtle bronzers.

How long does it take? From beginning to end, The entire process including change time, takes approximately 10 minutes. The spray itself takes approximately minutes depending on which combination of sprays you choose. How soon will I see results? The solution will continue to develop for hours after you complete your session.

Yes, the VersaSpa is perfectly safe for pregnant women to use. Just arrive showered, shaven, free of make-up, perfume, oil, body sprays, deodorant and moisturizer for optimal results. Bring loose, dark fitting clothing for after your session. You should use a moisturizing tan extender regularly to keep your skin hydrated and healthy, which will contribute to a more even, natural looking sunless tan. However, it is recommended NOT to apply moisturizers 3 hours prior to your VersaSpa session and at least 6 hours after.

A moisturizer applied immediately prior to your VersaSpa session could interfere with the reaction of the DHA the active self tanning ingredient with your skin. A moisturizer applied immediately after your session could cause streaking and also interfere with the reaction of DHA. Only salon approved moisturizer should be used, such as Daily performance lotion by VersaSpa. It is best to wait at least hours after the sunless tan application before you shower to give the DHA time to fully react with skin proteins.

In fact, the VersaSpa Sunless tanning results are phenomenal over a nice base tan. If you want to combine both applications in a single visit, we recommend tanning prior in our stand up unit to achieve the best results. Or a lotion with bronzer in it.
